As a business owner it can be a struggle getting a traditional home loan. I was searching on Grok and Griffin Funding came up. I was skeptical at first, but gave them a call and the whole process was super easy and now I'm in my new home! Jack Iwamoto called me immediately and helped walk me through the process. As a business owner that's been reinvesting heavily into the business for the last 18 months, they were able to get me a HELOC based on credit and revenue which was fantastic. After getting jerked around by a bunch of other lenders and wasting tons of time, I wasn't too confident to be honest. But my loan officer Ryan was awesome and they had the whole thing done and funded faster than others even told me what docs they wanted from me.

My 3rd loan with Griffin and the best experience yet. Andre Schmoldas and Jessie Kemer handled my DSCR cash-out refi flawlessly — I closed remotely while on vacation, they answered every question fast (even on a holiday weekend), and Jessie personally tracked the wire until funds hit my account. I highly recommend Griffin, especially if you're self employed and make enough money but have a hard time showing it. We ran into income verification challenges at our local bank, but the professionals at Griffin (Guy & Nina) were able to use our business bank statements to make things work. I just want to share that I had the best experience doing a refinance with Griffin Funding. I had looked at other lending institutions that were not very helpful. The loan officers at Griffin Funding were very accessible, with a nice attitude and also kept informing me of the process almost daily. They responded to emails promptly and overall made the process very smooth and a felt they were trustworthy every step of the way. Every deal is a smooth, seamless, quick, and efficient processs. Roadblocks happen throughout everytime, but they have an uncanny ability to navigate through them and adapt to every issue to achieve the end state of closing on an investment property on the terms that make sense to us. I contacted Griffin Funding last on a Friday after finding the house I wanted to purchase, and then found out my lender wasn't able to understand my S-Corp income to get my pre-approval underwritten. Madison Manna called and text with me, and confirmed a bank statement loan could work for me. By Monday evening, I was able to make the offer... and last Wednesday, I closed! Every step of the process has been smooth and stress free. Andromeda was my account manager and Deanna was my senior loan processor. They were easy to communicate with. Highly recommend them!

I was running into issue after issue with my new purchase due to being self-employed. After some research, I decided to reach out to Griffin. I was a little skeptical about bank statement loans, but thought it was worth a shot. I’m really glad that I did.Great job by all!Despite being on a short turnaround,James and his team (Lisa and Molly),were able to get me approved and closed in a short amount of time. If you are having trouble obtaining a mortgage as a self-employed person, I would highly recommend James and his team at Griffin.
